Hazel D. Houk

    Hazel D. Houk, 71, of Center Street, Caledonia, died April 28, 1998 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY after a short illness. Born December 17, 1926 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of George and Matilda Turner Blaker.

    Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Dean Houk, she is survived by her companion George Denny of Caledonia, daughter and son-in-law Ronda and Paul Davis of Churchville, NY, sons and daughter-in-law Dean K. Houk of Napanch, NY, Ronald Houk of Buffalo, NY, Jack L and Barbara M. Houk of Lafayette, NY, Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Brother Howard Blaker of Caledonia and sister Edith MaCauley of PA. Several nieces and nephews.

    She had retired from the Owens Illinois Glass Factory in Brockport, NY.

    Calling Hours will be Thursday April 30, 6-9 PM and Friday May 1, 10 AM to 12 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia.

    Services to be held Friday May 1, 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
