Gordon C. Huber, age 84 years, of Mumford died at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester on November 22, 2004. He was born December 22, 1919 in Rochester to Ivan and Amelia Huber. Gordon retired as the owner and operator of Huber Hardware in Caledonia after 21 years of service. He was past president of NYS Hardware Association and a WWII veteran with the 84^th Army and a 52-year member of the American Legion. Music was his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeane of 56 years; sister, Evelyn Scheiber of MD; sister-in-law, Luella Huber of FL; brother-in-law, Glenn (Helen) Stewart of AZ; many nieces and nephews. His brothers, Elmer and Ray Huber predecease Gordon.

   Friends called Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Service was held Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Mumford First United Presbyterian Church, 893 George Street, Mumford, NY 14511. Interment at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mumford First United Presbyterian Church.
