Glen O’Donnell Glen O’Donnell, age 95 years, died peacefully at home in Kissimmee, Florida on November 28, 2005. Glen was the second oldest child of Charles and Helen O'Donnell. Born and raised in Mumford, NY. Glen joined the Army during WWII and proudly served our country as a member of the Army Engineering Corp in the Pacific Campaign. Glen was a cabinetmaker by trade who enjoyed all forms of woodworking. He was an active member of St. Patrick's parish, the Mumford Volunteer Fire Department, and Boy Scoutmaster of Mumford's Troop 28. Glen loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was a lifetime member of The American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Mumford Volunteer Fire Department. Since moving to Florida in 1991 he was a volunteer at the Osceola Council on Aging until his death. Glen is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane; his sister Reba Mahle; four children, Helen (Tom) McKnight, Tim (Aileen) O'Donnell, Cathie Forrest, and Chuck O'Donnell; seven grandchildren, Jane, Marianne, Linda, Tim, Diana, Taylor and Holly; and seven great grandchildren. Glen was an honest, happy man who loved life to the fullest and never tired of helping others. He will be deeply missed.
