Gertrude K. Robertson

   Gertrude K. Robertson, age 81 years, of Caledonia died December 19, 2006 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born July 17, 1925 to Elgin and Hattie Kersey in Adrian, Georgia. Mrs. Robertson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Caledonia where she also served as secretary for over 17 years, and an active member of the Big Springs Garden Club in Caledonia. Mrs. Robertson is survived by her children, David Robertson Carol (Steven) Spiwak; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kevin (Bianca) Spiwak; great-grandchildren, Jadyn and Jacob Spiwak; sister Blanche (Moses) Powell; brothers, Lewis Kersey, Donald (Dorothy) Kersey; several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Frederick Robertson III predeceased Gertrude in 2005.

   Calling hours were held Friday, December 22, 2006 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Friends attended her Memorial Service Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main Street, Caledonia. A private interment took place at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of American, 4053 Maple Road, Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226
