Gerald A. Martin, 61, of Caledonia, died February 15, 2001 at United Memorial Medical Center is Batavia. He was born October 1, 1939 in Rochester, the son of Austin P. and Ruth (Stem) Martin. Gerald was a graduate of Avon Central School and Rochester Business Institute. He was a Systems Analyst for First Federal Bank in Rochester. He served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Gerald held an advanced license as an amateur ham radio operator. He was a 32-year member of the United Presbyterian Stone Church in Caledonia where he served the last twenty years as treasurer. He was also past master of the Eunice Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Jennifer Martin of Rochester, his mother, Ruth Martin of Avon; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Christine Martin of Avon; niece Katie Martin; former wife, Joan Martin; aunts, uncles and cousins.
