Georgina Sarah Campbell Georgina Sarah Campbell, 98, died February 24, 2000 at Highland Hospital in Rochester after a long illness. Georgina was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb Optical Company in Rochester. She also worked for McCurdy's Department Store downtown for 10 years. One of thirteen children, she was born June 25, 1901 in Ontario, Canada to Peter and Sarah (Britt) Campbell. Georgina is survived by her brother Glenn (Jean) Campbell, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; sisters; Annabelle Mason, London, Ontario, and Jean Palmer, British Columbia, nephew, Collin (Joyce) Campbell, sister-in-law, Agnes Campbell all of Rochester, NY, sister-in-law; Carrie Campbell, Ottawa, Canada, several nieces, nephews, and cousins Friends attended calling hours Sunday, February 27, 2-3 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, where a Service was held at 3 P.M. Officiating the service was Deacon Owen Bowers. Interment was held Monday, February 28, at Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield, NY.
