George J. Pfenninger

   George J. Pfenninger, age 80 years, of Churchville died February 4, 2005 at the Wedgewood Nursing Home in Spencerport, NY. He was born November 5, 1924 in Chili, the son of Charles and Gladys Pfenninger. George farmed for many years in the Chili/Clifton area and later worked and retired from the NYS Department of Transportation in Ogden. He is survived by his children; Bonnie Vath, Sharon (Stan) Dobra, both of Churchville, David (Alice) Pfenninger of Mumford; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother, Charles (Kathy) Pfenninger; several nieces and nephews.

   Friends called Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia where his Funeral Service was held Monday at10 AM. Interment was held at Grove Place Cemetery in Chili. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rochester, 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623.
