George F. Merritt

   George F. Merritt, age 78 years, of Scottsville died September 19, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Elizabeth Anne; children, Holly Merritt-Teed, Davy (Mary Ann), George (Jocelyn), Andy (Christine), Sally (Jon) Braciak; brother, Edward (Nancy); sister-in-law, Ronalee Merritt; 8 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

   Family and friends called at the J.H. Cameron Funeral Home, 26 Rochester Street, Scottsville, on Monday from 4-7 PM. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 175 North Street, Caledonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
