Frank S. Cappotelli, age 83 years, of Caledonia died September 19, 2006 at the New York State Veteran's Home in Batavia. He was born April 5, 1923 in Caledonia, NY to Frank and Josephine (Rapone) Cappotelli. Mr. Cappotelli served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW. He retired from Allen-Bailey Tag in Caledonia and was a member of St. Columba Church, Caledonia. Mr. Cappotelli is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine; sons, Frank (Georgeann) of The Villages, FL and Gary (Martha) Cappotelli of Caledonia; 4 grandsons; Andrew, Aaron, Matthew and Adam; 4 great granddaughters; brother, Charles (Mary) Cappotelli; sister Anna Coleman both of Caledonia; several nieces and nephews.

   Friends called Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held at St. Columba Church on Saturday at 9 AM. Interment was held at St. Columba Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the NYS Veteran's Home of Batavia (Erie Cottage), 220 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020.
