John Francis Ball John Francis Ball, age 87 years, of Caledonia died January 17, 2005 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born July 12, 1917 in Caledonia, NY to Joseph and Agatha (Callan) Ball. Francis retired from John G. Ball Company in Caledonia. He was a WWII veteran, a member of St. Columba Church and enjoyed building things with electric motors such as model airplanes, cars, and boats. Francis made doll houses and cared for his family. He is survived by several cousins and many friends. His sister, Geraldine and brother, James Ball predeceases Francis. Friends called Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held Thursday, 11 AM at St. Columba Church.
