Florence "Amy" Stevenson, age 70 years, a native of Caledonia resided in Antioch, TN, passed away on April 8, 2005 after a gallant 2-year battle with lung cancer. She was born November 24, 1925 to Samuel and Susan Hill in Caledonia. Mrs. Stevenson worked side by side with her husband to build their home and business. She was a wonderful cook and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She provided wisdom and support to her children. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, camping, traveling, bird watching and volunteering. Mrs. Stevenson is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Robert Stevenson; children; Robert Jr., Roxanna (Cookie) Owens, Renee Myricks of Antioch, TN, and Craig of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Alberta Moye of Rochester, and sister-in-law, Martha Lane of Rochester. She leaves to mourn her passing 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

   Friends called Tuesday, April 12, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street. Her Funeral Service was held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God, 3059 West Main Street, Caledonia, NY 14423. Her interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of God.
