Evelyn H. Bickford, age 81 years, of Caledonia died December 18, 2001 at LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home after a short illness. Evelyn was born May 14, 1920 in Rochester, NY to Roy and Helen McEwen. She was a past president of the Caledonia Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Columba Church. Evelyn is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Richard and Sharon Bickford, Robert and Sally Bickford both of Caledonia, 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces arid nephews. Evelyn's husband, Carroll S. Bickford predeceased her on May 23, 2001.

   Friends called Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass was held Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Columba Church. Interment  at St. Columba Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Caledonia Fire Department or the Caledonia Ambulance PO Box 1, Caledonia, NY 14423.
