Elizabeth Nichols Sheldon, age 93 years, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Mumford passed away June 10, 2009. Born March 5, 1916 in Leroy, NY, she was a long-time resident of the Caledonia-Mumford area. She attended Caledonia-Mumford School and graduated from Cornell University. She was a homemaker, teacher and a 4-H Extension Service Agent. She was a lifelong member of the Mumford United Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Robert Sheldon of Venice, Fl.; a son, William Charles (Sue) Sheldon of Tonawanda, NY; a brother, Charles (Edna) Nichols of Mumford and several nieces and nephews.
