Eleanor M. Parnell, age 87 years, of Caledonia entered into rest suddenly on March 27, 2001 at her home in Caledonia. She was born January 17, 1914 in Seneca Falls, NY to Patsy and Theresa (Zulfaneri) Rapone. Eleanor owned and operated The Cozy Kitchen in Caledonia from 1957-1974. She was a member of St. Columba Church. Eleanor is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Emily and Robert Kerr, Virginia Beach; son and daughter-in-law; Francis "Lefty" and Kitty Parnell, Caledonia, daughter and son-in-law; Marlene and James Sayers, Caledonia, grandchildren; Robert (Clare Ellen) Kerr, James Kerr, Kate (Gary) Sgroi, Sharon Kerr, Trine Parnell, Michael (Melissa) Sayers, Jodie Sayers and Nicholas Parnell, Great Grandchildren; Kirsten Kerr, Victoria Kerr, Nicholas Sgroi, Morgan Dailey, Christen Sgroi, Korrie Sayers, Kathrine Sgroi, and Alda Kria Sindradottir, Sisters, Anna Middleton, LeRoy, Mary Middleton, Caledonia, Louise (Sam) Andolora, Caledonia, Theresa (James) Noble, Dover, DE, brothers; Rocco (Florence;) Rapone, Caledonia, and Louis Rapone, FL, sisters-in-law; Betty Acquino, Caledonia, Loretta Parnell, Caledonia, Virginia Rapone, Pavilion, and Beatrice Parnell, Rochester. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by husband, Francis (Tince) Parnell (1996).

   Friends called Saturday at 7-9 P.M. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M, at the Alhart Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass was held Monday, 11:00 A.M. at St. Columba Church. Interment at St. Columba Cemetery.
