Eleanor M. Boyd, age 95 years, of York died February 8, 2006 at Alpine Pine Manor Home in Lima. She was born May 4, 1910 in Caledonia to Duncan and Nellie MacKenzie. Mrs. Boyd graduated from Fredonia State Teacher’s College in 1931. She taught art for several years at Perry High School and 14 years at York Central School. She was a resident of York since 1937 and a member of York United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Kay Boyd of Louisville, KY; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Philip Stewart of Caledonia; grandchildren, Brady, Lori, Rebecca and Mark; 4 great-grandchildren.
