Edith B. Sheffer

    Edith B. Sheffer, age 91 years, of Caledonia died January 29, 2002 at Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia. She was born on January 17, 1911 in Limerock, NY to Bert and Rose (Vescovi) Pangrazio. Edith worked as a clerk for the former 5 & 10 Department Store in Caledonia, and was a member of the Caledonia Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, St. Columba Church, Rosary Society and former treasurer of the Caledonia-Mumford Senior Citizens. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Robert and Susan of Caledonia, Donald and Linda of Canandaigua, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister, Helen Henry, of Caledonia, sister-in-law, Marion Pangrazio; several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Robert and son, Edward predeceases her.

   Friends called Friday, February 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, February 2, at 10 AM at St. Columba Church. Interment was held at St. Columba Cemetery.
