Dorothy E. Irving Dorothy E. Irving, age 84 years of Caledonia died January 20, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born January 27, 1916 in Caledonia to Peter and Edna (Hare) Grant. Dorothy enjoyed reading and gardening. She is survived by her daughters; Marion Mitchell, Caledonia, Joan Irving, Rochester, Eloise (Robert) Stevens, LeRoy, sons; Melvin Irving, Caledonia, Joe and Robert Irving, Rochester, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law; Raymond and Midge Grant, Caledonia, sister, Irene (John) Barber, Perry, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by husband, John Irving. Friends called Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Alhart Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, 11:00 am at St. Columba Church in Caledonia.
