Donald L. Werner

 Donald L. Werner, age 71 years, of Caledonia died November 8, 2006 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born July 27, 1935 in Batavia, NY to Laurence and Rhea Werner. Mr. Werner served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Matthew Cleary Post 255 and Caledonia VFW Memorial Post 10844. He worked for B.R. DeWitt as an operating engineer and was a member of Local 832, Rochester. Mr. Werner is survived by his wife; Norma of Caledonia, Children; Ronald (Alexandria) Werner of Webster, Kathleen (Frank) Deluca of Webster, Mark (Diane) Werner of Darien, Kurt (Dawn) Werner of Darien, Laurie (Dave) Straus of Little Valley, NY, Patricia (Bill) Shafer of Attica; nine grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Wayne) Keller of Bergen, Loretta (Tracy) Miller of Bergen; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. His brother, Ronald and mother and father predecease Donald.

   Friends called Friday, November 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia, where his funeral service was held Saturday at 2:00 PM. Interment was held Monday, November 13, 2006, 10:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica, NY.
