Daniel D. Coyle Daniel D. Coyle of Mumford, beloved husband, father, carpenter and farmer died on the land he loved, March 28, 2009. He was 51. Dan graduated from Cal-Mum and settled back home to raise his beautiful family. Dan and his wife of 19 years, Karen built Coyle’s Pumpkin Ranch on Oatka Trail in Wheatland. Hundreds visited the stand every autumn for pumpkins and gourds; many left as friends. A skilled worker and foreman, he built offices, schools and lasting friendships as a member of Carpenter’s Local 85. His Carhartts were always dusty, his farm plans never ending, his heart always full. He leaves us with his smile and that laugh-HA-HA that will carry on forever. Dan, we had so much more for you to do. Survived by his wife, sons Daniel and Dylan, and daughter Andrea; brother, David Coyle; sister, Sharon Haller, Diane Seals and Rosemary VanHarken. His parents, Betty and Earl Coyle, preceded him in death. Friends called Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Memorial Service was held Friday, 2 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main Street, Caledonia. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for Dylan and Andrea, c/o The Coyle Family, 1763 Beulah Rd., Churchville, NY 14428.
