Congie (Connie) Joy Connie Joy, 90, of West Main Street died on January 5, 1999 at the Village Green Nursing Home in LeRoy following a long illness. Born September 8, 1908, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Melotz) DelGatto in Manchester, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Joseph; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Joy of Elk City, Oklahoma and Francis Joy of Irvine, California; grandchildren, Cheryl Buchanan, Joe Joy, Diane Sisemore; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Ventry of Youngstown, NY, Nellie Commisso of Manchester, NY. Connie was an avid quilter, member of the "Friendly Club" of the St. Columba Church, chaired the committee for obtaining judges for the Caledonia Fair Association and served as local chairperson for the American Lung Association. Friends may call Thursday 2-4, 7-9 at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main St., Caledonia. Funeral Mass Friday, 11 a.m. at St. Columba Church, Caledonia, Reverend Walter Plominski officiating.
