"Katie"

   Catherine "Katie" Stewart, age 80 years, of Caledonia passed suddenly on October 11, 2006 after a long illness. The daughter of John E. and Elma Shelton, Katie was born November 22, 1925 in Warsaw, NY. She retired from Chloride Electro Networks in Caledonia and was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Mumford. She is survived by her husband, John Stewart of Caledonia; son, Calvin (Janice) Stewart of Chili; sisters, Arlene (Robert) Williams of North Chili, Marjorie Carpenter, Betty McClenney both of Caledonia; brothers, Marvin (Athene) Shelton of Rochester, Horace Shelton of Caledonia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Her parents and sister, Louise Cramatie predeceases her.

   Friends called Friday, October 13, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Service was held Saturday, October 14, 2006, 11 AM at the Second Baptist Church, Mumford. Interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery.
