Robert F. Steedman Robert F. Steedman, age 74 years, of Caledonia died January 16, 2004 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born May 5, 1929 in LeRoy, NY to Robert and Florence (Sheridan) Steedman. Robert served in the army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Matthew Cleary Post, Caledonia. Robert retired from Caledonia-Mumford School where he was the Superintendent of Grounds and Maintenance. He was a member of the Caledonia Country Club and St. Columba Church. Robert enjoyed woodworking and Cal-Mum Football. He was active in the Bowling Association. Robert is survived by his wife, Connie of Caledonia; son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Joanne Steedman of Canandaigua; grandchildren, Sean and Mitchell; sisters and brother-in-law, Norma Christopher, Sheila and Dick Ouweleen; sister-in-law, Shirley Steedman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gloria and John Rider, Tom and Nancy Englerth, Beverly Englerth; several nieces and nephews; special family friends, Judi and John Simmins and their children. His son, Christopher and siblings, Rose Wood, James Steedman and Tuddy Hessenthaler predecease Robert. Friends called Sunday, 7-9 PM and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, 11 AM at St. Columba Church, Caledonia.
