Robert D. Reeves Robert D. Reeves, age 75 years, of Caledonia died June 28, 2002 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born March 27, 1927 in Rochester to Victor and Gwen (Bullock) Reeves. Bob grew up in Wolcott, NY. Bob graduated from Levenworth School in Wolcott, and also graduated from the University of Rochester and Syracuse University. Bob was also in the U. S. Navy serving both in World War II and Korea. He taught school at Caledonia-Mumford Central School from 1951 to 1961. When Bob left teaching, he became the owner of the T. M. Skivington Insurance Agency in Caledonia in 1962. Bob also owned the Van Zile Travel Agency, also located in Caledonia. Bob was a Past Vice-President and President of the American Lung Association, and was a member of the Mathew Cleary Legion Post in Caledonia, and the First Presbyterian Church in Caledonia. Bob enjoyed Caledonia sports, traveling and his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife Maureen (Skivington) Reeves of Caledonia, his son and daughter in law; David and Joan Reeves of Bozeman, Montana. His daughter and son in law; Mary and John Hayes of Dedham, Massachusetts. His grandchildren Sean and Meghan Hayes. Friends called Sunday June 30, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at The Alhart Funeral Home 3060 West Main Street Caledonia. His Funeral Service was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Caledonia on Monday July 1, 2002 at 2:00 pm. Interment with full Military Honors has held at St. Columba Cemetery in Caledonia.
