W. Robert Drummond

   W. Robert Drummond, age 61 years, died November 7, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born to W. Robert and Jeanne (Neumuller) Drummond on May 14, 1940 in Hackensack, NJ. Bob served in the United States Armed Forces from 1960-62. He worked for Public Television in Rochester as an engineer for over 30 years. Bob was deeply involved in the Avon Wesleyan Church. He served as Mission Director and on the LBA Board. He also spent many years as the Audio/Visual Director of the church, and the last 10 years as Quiz Master for the Central New York District. Bob gave most of his summers to working at the Chamber Camp in Corning. Bob is survived by his wife; Barbara (Olyer) Drummond of Mumford, daughter and son-in-law; Debra and Jody Norton; son and daughter-in-law; Robert R. and Lori Drummond; grandson; James William Norton, sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and William Christine, all of Georgia.

   Friends called Friday, 6-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home. His Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 AM at the Avon Wesleyan Church. Memorials may be made to the church, 7 Pineview Heights, Avon, NY 14414.
