William J. Hamilton, age 91 years, of Caledonia died June 10, 2002 at his home. He was born April 15, 1911 in Caledonia to Thomas and Mary (Ross) Hamilton. William worked for the Caledonia-Mumford Central School as a custodian for 26 years. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Caledonia for 58 years, and served on the vestry for several years. William enjoyed sporting events, traveling and his family. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Caledonia; two sons, Thomas (Mary Catherine), John Hamilton of Plantation, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

   Friends called Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. His Funeral Service was held Thursday, 11:00 AM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 175 North Street, Caledonia, 14423. Interment at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
