Bertha McCarthy, age 91 years, formerly of Caledonia died January 9, 2007 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home. She was born November 6, 1915 in Chili, NY to William and Rose Krenzer. Mrs. McCarthy was a 50-year Caledonia resident and long-time supporter of the Caledonia Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Her husband Richard Russell McCarthy and brother Lester Krenzer of Scottsville predeceased Mrs. McCarthy.

   In lieu of Memorial Services, friends are invited to contribute to the Caledonia Fire Department, PO Box 1, Caledonia, NY 14423. A private interment at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Arrangements made by Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia.
