Alta M. Worden, age 70 years, died June 1, 2002 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester. She was born to Edward and Loucieta Quackenbush on May 20, 1932 in Mumford. She was a homemaker. Alta is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law; Floyd and Fran of Nunda, Roger Worden of Macedon; 10 grandchilden; sisters, P. Viola Denome of Naples, Dorothy Udertiz of Albion, Bea Rohrcast of PA, Mildred (Ronald) Finlay of Henrietta, Flossie (Clifford) Plane of Pittsford, Arlene Gallo of CA; brothers, Christopher (Millie) Fricke of Central Square, Edward Quackenbush of FL, Kenneth (Myra) Quackenbush of Mumford; several nieces and nephews. Alta’s husband, Floyd and son, Wayne predecease her.

   Friends called Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main St., Caledonia, NY. Her Funeral Service was held Wednesday at 11 AM at the Mumford United Presbyterian Church, 893 George Street, Mumford, NY 14511. Interment at Mumford Rural Cemetery, Mumford.
