Albertus Van De Vliert

   "Al" Van De Vliert of Stoney Oak Circle died February 14, 1999 at home following a long illness. Born May 16, 1930 in the Netherlands, the son of Albertus and Jannetje (Jansen) Van De Vliert.

   He is survived by his wife, Rika; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Alan and Penny Van De Vliert of Rapid City, South Dakota and Eric Van De Vliert of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, 2 granddaughters, Tegan and Christa Van De Vliert; also survived by 2 sisters; a brother-in-law; and 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, in the Netherlands.

   Al and his wife Rika came to the United States from the Netherlands in 1956. They owned and operated the Hilltop Auto Supply in Scottsville.

   There will be no prior calling hours. Friends may attend a Funeral Service Saturday, February 20, 11am at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main Street, Caledonia. Interment Mumford Rural Cemetery.

   In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Al's memory may be made to Pluta Family Cancer Center at Genesee Hospital, 224 Alexander Street, Rochester, 14607 or The First Presbyterian Church.
