William J. Crough

   William J. Crough, 77, of Keenan Place died January 13,1999, at the Livingston County Skilled Facility in Mt. Morris following a long illness. Born March 25, 1921, in Phelps, NY, the son of William and Elizabeth (Gainey) Crough.

   Survived by his wife of 52 years Violet (Thomson) Crough, Sisters and Brothers-in-Law; Helen and Richard Morrow of Texas, Theresa and Charles Hartung of Florida, Betty and John Mandarno of Cortland. Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Robert and Dorothy Crough of Pennsylvania, Philip and Eleanor Crough of Geneva and Paul and Doris Crough of Rochester.

   Mr.Crough was a retired engineer for Agway in Syracuse, member of the Caledonia-Mumford Lion's Club and a World War II Veteran.

   There were no prior calling hours, a service was held Saturday, January 16, 1999, 11:00 AM, at St. Columba Church, Reverend Walter Plominski Officiating. A spring internment will be held at St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia.
