HAS CALEDONIA BEEN VISITED BY LITTLE SILVER BEINGS AND THEIR FLYING MACHINES?
"A Representative Newspaper for the Villages of Caledonia, Mumford, and Scottsville" VOL.75 CALEDONIA, NEW YORK, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4,1952 Caledonia Residents Report Flying Saucers Last Thursday night , August 28, four Caledonia boys saw two flying saucers in the western sky. The boys, Richard Wall, Donald Pullyblank, Lawrence Bonacquisti and John Ball, were driving toward the village on Route 5, when a dull light appeared in the sky. They stopped the car about two miles from town and were observing its movements, when another similar light appeared close to the first. Both moved without any apparent destination. They moved about in a small area for about three minutes and disappeared as rapidly as they had arrived. Both were shining oval objects that were barely able to be seen against a background of moonlit clouds. After they had gone the young fellows scanned the horizon for an extended period of 20 minutes. After they returned to Caledonia they heard rumors of similar observations Above is the story which was turned in by the boys of the event which happened at 10:20 p.m. on August 28. There has been plenty of verification. David G. Tennent tells us that his family watched these objects in the sky for about 15 minutes. They were seen by Robert Kelly of Feeley Road, and by a number of families in the Taylor district. Probably many others in the community saw this phenomenon.
