Girl Scouts clothing collection helps here at home and around the world Cal-Mum Girl Scouts collected several hundred pounds of used clothing on Saturday, September 13 that was donated to St. Pauly’s Textile, Inc., who then distributes the items to clothing closets around Western New York. The items may also be donated to used clothing closets around the U.S. and developing countries around the world. Cal-Mum Girl Scouts organized the collection held at Caledonia Commons parking lot. The scouts earn a per pound dollar amount that is used to fund troop activities throughout the year. The girls feel good about this project because they know it not only helps their troop, but also benefits the needy here in this area and around the world. For more information about ST. Pauly’s mission, visit their website at www.st-pauly.com
