Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday - April 4
Tennent Park

Sixty-one kids braved the cold to fill their baskets with the colorful eggs containing candy and prize coupons.

Walmart in Geneseo donated two bicylces that were given to Natalie Maar and Nicholas Kruger who had their names randomly drawn at the egg hunt. Walmarts’ grocery department also prepared all of the candy purchased by fire prevention, including 286 chocolate bunnies, for quick pick up. Caledonia Fire Prevention donated the extra chocolate bunnies to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong Memorial in Rochester.

Patricia Lysko, organizer of the egg hunt, wishes to thank Felicia in Geneseo Walmart’s donation department and Mary Anita, the grocery manager, for their extra efforts in cooperation with fire pevention.

Thank you also to the Caledonia Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for donating hot chocolate and donuts on what was a very cold spring day.
