Sparky and the Easter Bunny delight kids at egg hunt Arriving by Caledonia and Mumford fire trucks, Sparky the fire safety dog and the Easter Bunny delighted children by attending Caledonia Fire Department’s annual Easter egg hunt at Tennent Park last Saturday. Children up to ten years old, divided by age, swept through the park to collect hundreds of brightly colored eggs filled with candy. Caledonia Fire Prevention sponsored the event that drew over 100 children to the park. Al Wilson and Travis Gray, both volunteer firefighters, organized the egg hunt. Fire Prevention gave away filled Easter baskets, chocolate bunnies, stuffed animals and hams to lucky winners. Two children, Natalie Spezzano and Kaitlyn Willis, each won a bicycle. Caledonia Fire Prevention thanks its donors, Marketplace grocery store in Caledonia, John Keenan, Wegmans and Dollar General.
