Commodity Resource Corporation, Land O’Lakes Purina
Feed and Agreement Expands Utilization Commodity Resource Corporation (CRC) and Land O’Lakes Purina Feed LLC (LOLPF) have announced their agreement to further expand business operations at the CRC feed and dry fertilizer transload, blending and distribution facility in Livingston County, Town of Caledonia, New York. Under terms of the agreement, Agriliance, an agronomy marketing venture between Land O’Lakes, Inc. and CHS Inc., will distribute its fertilizer products from the facility. The CRC facility, which opened in 2003, is a unique agribusiness infrastructure project developed with the strong cooperation and support of the agriculture industry, private investors and government economic development offices. The facility, located within a company-owned 400+ car railyard, provides the agriculture industry in New York and Northern Pennsylvania with technologically advanced high-volume feed and dry fertilizer transload, storage and blending services. Since its opening in 2003, LOLPF has been the CRC facility’s largest customer. The agreement announced today will allow LOLPF and Agriliance to lease and operate the facility to further expand into the super-regional markets they serve. Under the agreement, the facility will continue to serve regional agribusiness with wholesale services as it has in the past.
