Caledonia-Mumford Lions Club Citizenship Award

This award is designed to honor female and male members of the graduating class who have displayed the following characteristics during their years in school:

Sincere interest, concern and respect for family, fellow students and school staff.

Above average academic record.

Active involvement in service towards school, community and church

Demonstrates courtesy and congeniality in social involvement in both the school and community.

Considered an outstanding citizen of their school and community.

Honorable Michael L. Rogers Education Fund Award

The award winner is selected on the basis of high academic achievement, community interest and participation in school affairs.

Virginia M. Keefe Memorial Student Athlete Award

The recipient of this award has been selected on the basis of the following criteria:

Considered a good school citizen

Participated in extra-curricular activities

Someone interested in attending an institution of higher learning

The Dr. Frederick M. Hinsdale Scholar-Athlete Award

This award is intended to honor a senior male and female who have excelled academically and athletically. The purpose of this award is to help further the understanding that student/athletes should strive to reach their potential in the classroom and in the athletic arena. To qualify you must receive at least two Varsity letters in both your Jr. and Sr. year, then having met this criteria, have the highest academic average compared to the other qualifiers.

E. S. Campbell Endowment Scholarship Award

This award is presented to a student based on the following criteria:

High academic achievement

High moral and ethical values

Demonstrated aptitude, interest, and likely success in scientific engineering, trade or technical studies and occupations

Caledonia-Mumford Teachers Association Scholarship

The CMTA is presenting this scholarship to a deserving senior who plans to pursue careers in the field of education.

WINNER: HEATHER KIME

Howard F. Smith, Jr. Musician/Scholar Award

This award is presented to a senior who has been a member of Senior Band or Senior Chorus for a minimum of 2 years, has a high school average of 80 or above, has been cooperative in school classes and activities with peers and teachers, and has been accepted by an institute of higher learning.

Allen-Bailey Tag and Label, Inc Scholarship

Presented to a senior pursuing a degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Management or Business.

Caledonia-Mumford Rotary Scholarship

The object of the Rotary organization is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster the development of acquaintance. The Rotary has a Four-Way Test of the things they think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Applicants were asked to write an essay describing how they incorporate Rotary’s 4-Way Test in their daily living and how the Object of Rotary applies to their long-term goals. The senior selected to receive this award:

Dr. William S. Andaloro Scholarship

Presented to a graduating senior pursuing a degree in the medical field and to a student entering or already in medical school.

The Kevin Kissel Memorial Scholarship

This award is presented to a senior who has maintained a minimum 75% overall average, has an ability to interact with a variety of people and groups in a positive manner, and has participated in a variety of school activities as an integral member who works hard on a consistent basis.

Delta Kappa Gamma Award

Delta Kappa Gamma is an international honor society which recognizes women in education. The award is presented to an outstanding girl pursuing a career in education.

Salvation Army Scholarship Award

The Salvation Army awards this scholarship to two graduating seniors who are in excellent academic standing, and will be attending college. The recipients must also have an interest in human services.

Matthew Cleary Post #255 Sons of the American Legion

This scholarship is awarded to seniors who have achieved a minimum 85% GPA; shown strong performance in social studies; been involved in community service, student Government, or activity leadership; and demonstrated citizenship and leadership qualities.
