Steve Boscoe
owner of local Padgett office
named to advisory board

Steve Boscoe, owner of Padgett Business Services located at 3175 State Street, Caledonia, has been appointed to the Padgett Advisory Board. He is one of ten board members representing the interests of over 400 franchise owners throughout North America. Boscoe will represent the interests of all Padgett franchise owners in the New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. He will provide communication between franchise owners and home office and participate in the strategic development of Padgett Business Services.

"The franchise owners are small business owners, just like my clients," Boscoe said. "I strive to represent the best interests of my clients in the day-to-day operations of their businesses and I will strive to do the same for the franchise owners," he commented.

Boscoe opened the Caledonia Padgett office in 1991 after a 17-year career with Chase Bank as a branch manager, commercial lending officer and vice president for the private banking division. He selected the Padgett franchise from his experiences working with small business owners who came to the bank for assistance getting started. PBS had been catering to the individual needs of small business owners through a network of 400 local owner-operated offices. They offer business advice, tax consultation and preparation, government reporting compliance, financial reporting and other business services.

"I always saw a need for small businesses, especially retail and service, needing help with business planning, but no one really focused on these businesses," Boscoe explained. "By way of personal relationships we provide peace of mind to our clients by helping them focus on operating their business more successfully."

In addition to owning Padgett Business Services, Boscoe has served the residents of the Village Caledonia for ten years as a trustee on the village board. He is stepping down in just a few months at the end of his current term. He’s also on the Dr. William Andaloro Medical Scholarship Committee, which he finds very satisfying when the recipients are announced each year at commencement. His other involvements include seats on the Livingston/Wyoming County Micro Loan Committee, the Board of Directors for Focus on the Children, the Board of Directors of the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce (and past chair), Board of Directors of the Livingston County Education Alliance and Chair of the St. Columba/St. Patrick Finance Committee.

Steve Boscoe, in his newly renovated Caledonia office of Padgett Business Services is one of ten appointed to the Padgett Advisory Board.
