Village Board Meeting Minutes The Village of Caledonia Board of Trustees held a meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office. Members Present: Mayor Joe Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Teresa Truman, Trustees Steve Boscoe, Diane Fowler and Steve Polo. A motion was made by Trustee Boscoe to approve the March 4, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes; Deputy-Mayor Truman seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman, Trustees Boscoe, Fowler and
Polo. Bills were audited and ordered paid:
A motion was made by Deputy-Mayor Truman to approve the bills paid; Trustee Polo seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman, Trustees Boscoe, Fowler and
Polo. A motion was made by Trustee Fowler to approve the following budget transfers; Trustee Boscoe seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman, Trustees Boscoe, Fowler and
Polo.
A motion was made by Trustee Polo to approve the Annual Bingo License #650; Trustee Boscoe seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman, Trustees Boscoe, Fowler and
Polo. Main Street Easements – Mayor Caluorie gave an update on a meeting held on Tuesday, March 18th with Dan Pangrazio, Attorney Jim Coniglio, Attorney Peter Skivington, J.P. Schepp, Chris Buckley, Les Cole of CRC, and John McCreedy. Mr. Schepp will provide a cost analysis of the project. Clerk-Treasurer Ann Marie Grattan presented the tentative 2008-2009 General & Water Budgets. Discussion with Betty McClenney regarding the summer swim program. Mrs. McClenney is considering a program at the Avon Central School. It would consist of 4 lessons each day. It would run for 20 days. A survey was conducted requesting bussing or parents/guardians transporting their own children to lessons. A large response was received from survey letters sent home through the school and via Cal-Mum. COM. The survey concluded that the majority of participants were willing to transport their own children; therefore busses will not be needed. The program will be offered for K-5th grade with additional classes available for babies and seniors. Currently Mrs. McClenney is in the process of obtaining costs associated with the program. A motion was made by Trustee Fowler to approve Mayor Caluorie to sign a 2-year contract with LT Disposal, Inc, for garbage and recycle services beginning on June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2010; Deputy-Mayor Truman seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman, Trustees Boscoe, Fowler and
Polo. Code Enforcement Officer Tom Perkins discussed a request by St. Columba Church to change the parking lot on Mill Street. Mr. Perkins stated that due to pre-existing non-conforming zoning restrictions, the request was denied and will have to be brought to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Perkins informed the board that this is the third parking denial he has had to issue. The other two were the gym on State Street and funeral home on Main Street. Trustee Fowler suggested the Board look at the village zoning again. There being no further business, a motion was made at 7:50 p.m. by Trustee Boscoe to adjourn; Trustee Boscoe seconded the motion. Village Board
Meeting Minutes The Village of Caledonia Board of Trustees held a budget workshop on Sunday, March 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Village Office. Members Present: Mayor Joe Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Teresa Truman, Trustee Steve Boscoe and Steve Polo. Absent: Trustee Diane Fowler. 2008-2009 General and Water expense and revenue accounts were reviewed. The tentative budgets will be presented to the Village Board on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Executive Session: a motion was made by Deputy-Mayor Truman at 3:27 p.m. to enter into executive session to discuss personnel; Trustee Polo seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman,
Trustees Boscoe and Polo. After some discussion, a motion was made by Deputy-Mayor Truman at 3:30 p.m. to close the executive session; Trustee Polo seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman,
Trustees Boscoe and Polo. There being no further business, a motion was made by Trustee Polo at 3:30 p.m. to adjourn; Deputy-Mayor Truman seconded the motion. AYE: Mayor Caluorie, Deputy-Mayor Truman,
