Happy 50th Anniversary
John and Pat Keenan

Friends and Family celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of John and Pat Keenan of Mumford at The Big Tree Inn, Geneseo. Their children Joan, Charlie Robinson. Michael, Jill Keenan and Danny, Barb Keenan along with grandchildren, Chad and Kailee Robinson, Kasey and Kevin Keenan, and Emma Lou Keenan had a wonderful evening of good food and fellowship. Pat and John were married on September 13, 1958 at St. Patrick’s Church in Mumford.

Uncle Mel was 10 when they got married and he doesn't remember much. Aunt Marilyn had a softball game and didn't make the wedding. Aunt Mary gave the customary wedding breakfast. Blanche Keenan told John that the Callan’s from Mumford were Yankee fans and to never forget her beloved Dodgers. My aunt Dorothy from Spencerport, NY was so excited about the anniversary party that she laid out her clothes the night before and said if she didn't wake up to go to the party to bury her in them. Carl Fisher had his dancing shoes on all night long. Grandson Chad Robinson from NJ serenaded his grandparents with a Rolling Stones tune called Wild Horses. He's in a band in NJ waiting for his big break, could be any day now!! Mary Hamilton gave her traditional friendship talk, with tidbits about Pat and John when they were young. Johns daughter Joan found out she was named after her dads old girlfriend, Pat vehemently denies this. Granddaughter Kailee Robinson, the event coordinator at the Big Tree Inn showed us all that she did learn something in college and the tuition money was going toward something more than just beer and pizza. Kevin Keenan brought girlfriend Janey from Avon, Raiders beat Avon in football this year so we will let him keep seeing her. Life is good for Granddaughter Kasey at UB. Classes, work, and the stray cat she adopted just had kittens.

Being 6, Emma Lou Keenan didn't have such a great time as everyone else. She just lost 2 teeth and her dad said he could drive his truck through her mouth. She was tired and couldn't find anything she liked to eat at the buffet so Kailee hooked her up with her own special plate of spaghetti, its good to have connections in the kitchen. A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL
