George & Jocelyn Merritt of Alexandria Bay, New York, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie J. Merritt, Scottsville, to Jason M. Mullins, also of Scottsville, NY. Ms. Merritt, a 2002 graduate of Caledonia-Mumford High School, graduated with an Associates Degree from Jefferson Community College in 2003 and with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from SUNY Potsdam in 2006. Melanie is currently employed as a Residential Supervisor by Pralid in Rochester, NY and will be attending Nazareth College Fall 2010.

  Mr. Mullins, son of Jacqueline Colby of Kent, NY and J. Michael Mullins Jr. of Gates, NY is a 2002 graduate of Spencerport High School and has an Associate’s Degree from Monroe Community College, May 2009. Jason is a photography specialist for Wal-Mart and is currently attending SUNY Brockport.

  A wedding is planned for Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay, August 2010.
