Steven and Laura Canne of Caledonia, NY and Mike and Marsha Backus of Dansville, NY are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Christina and Ryan. Christina is a 2002 graduate of Caledonia-Mumford High School and a 2006 graduate of Canisius College with a BA Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She is currently working as a Loss Prevention Investigator for The Home Depot. Ryan is a 1999 graduate of Dansville Senior High School and is currently working as a Senior Account Executive at Beneficial/HSBC.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
