Joanne and John Burns of Caledonia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Faith Burns, to Curtis Edward Young, the son of Wendy Dakin of Henrietta and Christopher Young of South Bristol. 

   Kim is a 1998 graduate of Caledonia Mumford High School and is currently pursuing a career as a Distribution Wave Planner in the contact lens industry at CooperVision Inc. in Henrietta. 

   The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Wheatland Chili High School, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from SUNY Plattsburgh and is currently employed as a Laboratory Technician at Rochester Midland Corporation. 

   An October 2007 wedding is planned.
