Joanne and John Burns of Caledonia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Jeanette Burns, to Joshua Ward Davies, son of  Carol V Davies and Russell R Bennett of Ithaca.  

   The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Caledonia Mumford High School.  She attended SUNY Cobleskill, is currently pursuing a degree in Horticulture Technology at Northern Virginia Community College and is currently employed at ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance as an Associate Account Manager and Enhancement Designer in Virginia.  

   The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Midlakes High School Clifton Springs NY.  He has an Associates Degree from Alfred State, earned a Bachelors Degree with honors in Plant Science and Landscape Contracting from  SUNY Cobleskill and is also a Certified Landscape Technician.  He is currently employed at Wheat’s Lawn and Custom Landscape as a Landscape Installation Foreman in Virginia. 

   A June 2008 wedding is planned.
